Groundwater Flow Modeling Conducted for Simulation of Proposed Rosemont Pit Dewatering and Post-Closure

Document ID: 012071
2009

Montgomery & Associates developed a groundwater flow model designed to simulate conditions prior to pit development, during pit dewateringi, and for a 100-year post-closure period of groundwater level recovery and potential pit lakei development. In support of the model, conducted initial investigations in the proposed mine area including exploration drilling, hydraulic testing, groundwater level monitoring, field verification of geologic maps in the proposed area, and literature reviews.
