Preliminary Report of Forest Sensitive Plant Surveys on the Rosemont Holdings Focusing on Amoreuxia gonzalezii

WestLand Resources, Inc. (WestLand) was retained by Rosemont Copper Company (Rosemont) to conduct baseline biological studies in support of their effort to obtain licensing for mining operations on private land held by Rosemont and on portions of the U. S. Forest Service, Coronado National Forest (CNF) adjacent to the their holdings. The purpose of this preliminary report is to present results on surveys for two forest sensitive species that may be present with in the proposed area of mining operations. The survey is ongoing and the results reported here cover from August 1 through August 17, 2011.
